Due to COVID-19, the CAP office is closed to the public. The Community Assistance Program (CAP) provides basic needs and case management services for the low income and homeless residents of the Ojai Valley.
If you need assistance with food, please call the office at 805-640-3320 to speak with a staff member.
We distribute food on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9am-12pm. Delivery can be arranged.
C.A.P. SERVICES INCLUDE:
- Monthly Food Pantry
- Medical Copays (Limited)
- Rental Assistance (Limited)
o Once a year up to $100 on electric (EAF) and gas bills(GAF).
o H.E.A.P. (Home Energy Assistance Program) – available year-round, this program assists with gas or electric bills for qualified, low-income applicants.
Services for homeless individuals: Ojai residents only. Homeless to home intensive case management program.
